2023 දෙසැම්බර් 9 වැනි දින සවස 4.00 ට මෙල්බර්න් හිදී පැවැත්වෙන ලයනල් බෝපගේ ප්‍රත්‍යාවර්තන සංවාදයේ දී, Dwandha - a Tale of Two Rebels චිත්‍රපටය තිරගත කරන අතර ම එය සැමට බලා ගත හැකි වන පරිදි අන්තර්ජාලයට ද මුදා හැරෙනු ඇත.
මෙම අවස්ථාවේ දී, ආචාර්ය චන්න වික්‍රමසේකර, සිති මරික්කාර් හා එල් මුරුගපූපති, ලයනල් බෝපගේගේ දශක කිහිපයක ක්‍රියාකාරිවය ගැන අදහස් දක්වන අතර චිත්‍රපටයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයා සමඟ ලයනල් ද පුද්ගලිකව එම සංවාද මණ්ඩපයට එක්වනු ඇත.

Born on September 6, 1944, Lionel Bopage will soon join the Octogenarian club. After dedicating approximately half of his life to the left and the JVP cause, Lionel is now channelling the other half towards advancing his political beliefs on a broader, inclusive, and democratic level of engagement. A biography, titled "The Lionel Bopage Story" (as recounted to Michael Collin Cooke, 2011), and a documentary film, "Dwandha – a Tale of Two Rebels" by Udan Fernando in 2019, have both chronicled Lionel's life and contributions.
The Lionel Bopage Retrospection event, to be held in Melbourne on 9th December 2023, will also mark the online release of the film Dwandha – a Tale of Two Rebels, preceded by a panel discussion on Lionel and his engagements with Dr Channa Wickremesekera (South Asian Military Historian), Ms Sithy Marikar (Trustee and Founder Member – United Sri Lankan Muslim Association in Australia) and Mr L. Murugapoopathy (Award winning author and journalist). Lionel will also personally join the panel alongside the film's director.
While this event will be held at Mount St Neighbourhood House 6 Mount St, Glen Waverley VIC 3150 from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm, it will also be live streamed via Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
